On Thursday, TV news networks will present live coverage of former FBI Director James Comey‘s testimony before the Senate Intel Committee about his interactions with Pres. Trump related to the FBI’s investigation into claims of Russian meddling in the U.S. election.
Below are those plans.

ABC News:
- ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos leads the network’s coverage on Thursday, and he will be joined by chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl, senior justice correspondent Pierre Thomas, chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross, congressional correspondent Mary Bruce and chief legal analyst Dan Abrams.
- ABC will also livestream the hearing.
- Additionally, David Muir will anchor World News Tonight from Washington tomorrow.
CBS News:
- CBS This Morning co-hosts Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell will be in New York to anchor live coverage of former FBI Director Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee from 7 – 10 a.m. on CBS; CBSN; CBS Radio News; and all digital platforms.
- Rose, King and O’Donnell will be joined in New York by Face the Nation anchor and chief Washington correspondent John Dickerson and chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford.
- White House and senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan will report from the White House, while chief congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes will report from inside the hearing on Capitol Hill.
- Justice and homeland security correspondent Jeff Pegues will report from Washington. And national correspondent Chip Reid will be at Capitol Hill.
- CBS Radio News will provide anchored coverage as well as short-form special reports throughout the day of the hearing. The coverage will be available on the CBS Radio News app and via digital streaming.
FOX:
- FNC’s Shepard Smith will anchor coverage for FOX Broadcast.
NBC News:
- Coverage begins on Today with NBC News chief legal correspondent and Today co-host Savannah Guthrie anchoring from Washington, and Matt Lauer anchoring from New York.
- Lester Holt, Guthrie and Chuck Todd will co-anchor NBC News’ coverage from Washington, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT across the NBC broadcast network. Additionally, Holt will anchor NBC Nightly News from Washington on Thursday night.
- NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, NBC News chief White House correspondent Hallie Jackson, NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker, NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander, NBC News justice correspondent Pete Williams, NBC News Capitol Hill correspondents Kasie Hunt and Kelly O’Donnell, MSNBC senior national correspondent Chris Jansing, MSNBC chief legal correspondent Ari Melber and MSNBC Correspondent Garrett Haake will all contribute reporting on both NBC and MSNBC. - Beginning at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT, special coverage will stream live on NBCNews.com, NBC News apps, YouTube and OTT platforms. - PBS NewsHour will be reporting extensively on former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intel Committee via broadcast, online and social media platforms, as part of our ongoing coverage of the investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.
- In his first testimony since being fired by President Donald Trump, Comey is expected to testify about his interactions with the president as it related to the FBI’s investigation into claims of Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential race.
- NewsHour managing editor Judy Woodruff will anchor live coverage on PBS starting at 10 a.m. EDT, Thursday, June 8th. NewsHour’s nightly broadcast (check local listings) will also devote extensive coverage to the hearing, with correspondents Lisa Desjardins live from the nation’s capital, and John Yang at the White House.
- NewsHour’s coverage extends online to include a live stream on Facebook LIVE and YouTube, as well as additional coverage on NewsHour’s website.
Telemundo:
- Former FBI Director James Comey will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee coverage.
- Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart will lead the coverage on Thursday June 8th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (coverage open to extension)
- Noticias Telemundo will broadcast updates and highlights from testimony doubled to Spanish nationally from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and a special program with highlights and analysis will air from 12 to 1 PM.
- NoticiasTelemundo.com, Noticias Telemundo mobile web, Noticias Telemundo app, Noticias Telemundo YouTube Live, Noticias Telemundo Facebook Live and Noticias Telemundo Periscope): will stream the full testimony doubled to Spanish from 10 a.m., followed by the 12 p.m. Special once the testimony finishes. - Univision News will air the James Comey testimony and hearing live, with commentary before and after.

CABLE
Bloomberg:
- Bloomberg Television anchors David Westin and David Gura, along with Bloomberg’s senior White House correspondent Margaret Talev, will host the network’s special coverage beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET from Bloomberg’s Washington, DC bureau. Westin, Gura and Talev will continue coverage again at 1 p.m. ET.
- Additionally, Bloomberg will be Twitter’s exclusive premium live partner for the broadcast and the live stream will be available on Twitter globally via @business. The agreement comes on the heels of the deal Bloomberg Media and Twitter announced in May to create the first-ever 24/7 breaking news network that will be global, live, social and streaming. Bloomberg Media and Twitter also partnered to live stream the U.S. presidential debates last fall, and the platform currently streams three of Bloomberg Television’s daily live programs.
CNBC:
- CNBC will provide coverage of former FBI Director Comey’s testimony throughout the network’s Business Day programming and on CNBC Digital.
- The network will air the hearing in its entirety and livestream the hearing on CNBC.com.
- The network’s coverage will also include reporting from Kayla Tausche at the White House, John Harwood at Capitol Hill as well as Eamon Javers and Ylan Mui from the hearing.
- Additionally, CNBC Digital will have articles and videos pegged to news that comes out of the hearing.
CNN:
- Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper will be anchoring CNN’s programming beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday morning.
C-SPAN:
- C-SPAN will present live and complete coverage of former FBI Director James Comey testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, June 8 at 10 a.m. ET on C-SPAN3, C-SPAN.org and the FREE C-SPAN Radio App.
Fox Business Network:
- Fox Business will be covering news from the hearing, but will not produce special programming around it. However, the network will have special programming later that night surrounding the UK election, anchored by Lou Dobbs and Neil Cavuto.
Fox News:
- Co-anchored by FNC’s Bill Hemmer and Shannon Bream, coverage will begin at 9 a.m. ET and contributions will be made by a panel including FNC’s chief political anchor Bret Baier, Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace and The Five co-host Dana Perino. Additionally, FNC will be commercial-free when the hearing begins at 10 a.m. ET.
- FNC’s prime time lineup will feature live editions of The Story with Martha MacCallum (7 p.m. ET), Tucker Carlson Tonight (8 p.m. ET), The Five (9 p.m. ET) and Hannity (10 p.m. ET). Additionally, from 11 p.m. – 1 a.m. ET, FNC will present special live presentations of Tucker Carlson Tonight (11 p.m. – Midnight ET) and Special Report with Bret Baier (12 – 1 a.m. ET).

- Pre-game programming kicks off on Morning Express with Robin Meade in the 9 a.m. ET hour. Robin will be joined by S.E. Cupp and Joey Jackson.
- Erica Hill to provide post-testimony summary and analysis, followed by a panel discussion hosted by S.E. Cupp with Krystal Ball, Joey Jackson and others.
MSNBC:
- On MSNBC, programming kicks off on Morning Joe from 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. ET.
- MSNBC’s coverage of the hearing starts at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT with Brian Williams joined by NBC News’ Nicolle Wallace and a slate of guests beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET / 6:30 a.m. PT. Special programming continues throughout the day on MSNBC Live and in prime time.
