Heisman Ratings Lowest In Four Years For ESPN

While ESPN scored a ratings victory last Saturday night with their final 30 for 30 documentary, Pony Excess, the same can’t be said about the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

Ratings and viewership hit a four-year low as ESPN drew a 2.3 U.S. rating and 3.784 million viewers. That’s down 34 percent in ratings and 37 percent in viewership from last year (3.5, 5.990 million). It was ESPN’s lowest rated Heisman Trophy presentation since 2006 (2.0, 2.950 million).
