Heather Childers, who joined Fox News Channel in February from Charlotte’s News 14, has been named anchor of the weekend afternoon editions of FNC’s “America’s News Headquarters,” the Charlotte Observer reports.
Childers, a New York-based reporter, has been filling in on the 4-6pmET block alongside Gregg Jarrett.
Before News 13, Childers anchored at WLOS, the ABC affiliate in Asheville, NC. She joined News 14 Carolina, a 24-hour newschannel, at launch in 2002.
