This morning the “Today” show played a clip of Fox News anchor Heather Childers who mistakenly called the UConn Huskies “the 2014 NAACP national champs.” Of course, they’re the NCAA champions. Childers corrected herself on air, and on Twitter wrote, “Just misspoke. Fuel 4 late night comics ;)”
“I guess you guys don’t beleive in karma,” Savannah Guthrie said after the clip. “It’s happened to all of us,” Matt Lauer chimed in. WATCH:

On Twitter, Childers also pointed out she isn’t the first news anchor to mix up the NAACP and the NCAA. Look who else did:
