Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals drew a 7.4 overnight rating Wednesday night on TNT. That overnight rating ties Sunday’s 7.4 overnight, which was the biggest cable TV audience for an NBA game.
Ratings are up 30 percent from Game 2 of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals between Boston and Orlando.
And in case you’re wondering if the city of Cleveland is interested in this series, 11.4 percent of the local households watched – – the third-highest rated market behind Chicago (24.6 percent) and Miami (22.4 percent).
