Hank Williams, Jr. Sings New Tune Calling out ‘Fox & Friends’

By Chris Ariens

A week after his appearance on “Fox & Friends,” which cost him his job as frontman for ESPN’s Monday Night Football theme song, and made him the center of an SNL pardoy, Williams is firing back at Fox News and ESPN. Williams has written a new verse to his tune, “I’ll Keep My…”

In the song Williams, son of country music icon Hank Williams, says “Fox & Friends” hosts twisted his words: “So Fox ‘n Friends wanna put me down/Ask for my opinion/Twist it all around.” He finishes the verse: “Well two can play that gotcha game you’ll see.”

Early in the song, he says the U.S. is “going down the drain” and says it’s becoming “The United Socialist States of America.” He mentions keeping “Fox & Friends” and ESPN out of your home toward the end of the song.

Williams is scheduled to appear on “The View” tomorrow. On his website, he writes, “Whoopi and Joy understood what I was saying. After watching the clip of their show, I knew I needed to talk to them first. Who knows Whoopi may run for President and I’ll be her Vice President… now that will really stir it up!”

Williams, Jr. will also be back on Fox News tomorrow night, appearing on “Hannity.”
