Former Fox News Channel host Gretchen Carlson says women should not be judged for waiting to report sexual harassment.
“Look at how we react to women when they finally do come forward,” Carlson told ABC’s Amy Robach. “They’re accused of making it up.”
In a preview of Robach’s 20/20 interview with Carlson set to air Friday night, Carlson said “we need to make it a safer environment” for women to report harassment, “so it’s no longer ‘he said she said’, but maybe just ‘she said’.”

In the brief excerpt of the interview aired on GMA, Carlson described two disturbing incidents early in her career involving powerful men who forced themselves on her.
