Greta Van Susteren Demands ‘Prominent’ Correction from Tina Brown

By Chris Ariens

Fox News host Greta Van Susteren has taken to her blog demanding a correction and apology from Daily Beast writer Lauren Ashburn. In a piece assailing Fox News hosts and analysts who’d mocked the illness of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — before it was revealed she had a blood clot — Ashburn incorrectly attributed the quote, “immaculate concussion” to Van Susteren, when it was Laura Ingraham who’d said it. Van Susteren writes:

Van Susteren then called Top Beast Tina Brown:

Editor’s note: In an earlier version of this article, Greta Van Susteren was incorrectly quoted as joking that Hillary Cilnton had had an “immaculate concussion.” In fact, that phrase was used by Laura Ingraham. We apologize for the error.
