Greta on Roesgen: “I Think She’s Been Punished Enough”

Eileen O’Connor, the former CNN reporter who spoke out against Susan Roesgen’s tea party reporting, went On the Record last night with Greta Van Susteren.

“I can only think that if we had done that, Ted Turner would have had our heads,” said Van Susteren.

Although both agreed there needs to be an apology, O’Connor said, “This is not representative of CNN.”

“I feel sorry for her, and I think the next time I do something, is everyone going to be unmerciful to me? I wish there was some way CNN can help her get out of this,” said Van Susteren.

Later on Gretawire, Van Susteren wrote: “Maybe she needs to reexamine what her job is and how to do it better…but she should get a shot at trying to redeem herself.”
