Greta Interviews Joran van der Sloot

Hey Chris Cuomo: You’re not so special! Greta Van Susteren interviewed Joran van der Sloot in Aruba over the weekend.

Wednesday’s On The Record was devoted to the question-and-answer. “I agreed to talk to you because I thought it was important to hear another side of the story,” Joran told her. Greta agreed to run the entire interview unedited.

“That seemed fair to me,” she blogged. “Frankly, I hate to have controversial interviews edited, since despite our best efforts, everyone — viewers and guests — yell ‘foul.’ An unedited interview allows me to simply say, ‘Here it is. You be the judge.'”

> Also: After Greta interviewed Joran, she headed over to the Kalpoe’s residence. She knocked on the door, but they didn’t answer. She called out “Nadira, Nadira” — Deepak and Satish’s mother’s name. But the Kalpoe’s called the cops to report that someone screamed “murderer, murderer.” The Aruban authorities started searching for Greta, but she was on the way out of the country. She blogged about it…
