“Good Morning America’s” ratings rise over NBC’s “Today” show reached a new milestone yesterday. “GMA” topped “Today” in total viewers for the first time on Halloween. “GMA” was also first in A25-54 viewers for the first Halloween since 1991, according to Nielsen Fast Affiliate Time Period Data. We’ll have final numbers for the week next Thursday.

“Today” had long dominated Halloween ratings, as viewers tuned in to see what Matt, Katie, Meredith, Al, Ann, Natalie, and the rest, wore. But as “GMA” now wins the mornings consistently, the winning ways continued into Halloween.
