NBC’s “Today” show remains the #1 morning show, #winning last week and the just-completed February Sweep.
For the Sweep, “Today” enjoyed a 690K Total Viewer lead over #2 ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Still, this was “GMA’s” best Sweeps month since November 2007.
The day after the Oscars, Feb. 28, “GMA” put up its best numbers in more than two years, but still trailed “Today” by 74,000 Total Viewers. (That was also Charlie Sheen day for both networks.)
The averages for the Feb. 2011 Sweep:
- Total Viewers: NBC: 5.65M / ABC: 4.96M / CBS: 2.86M
- A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.60M / ABC: 1.89M / CBS: 1.23M
Compared to the same week last year, “Today” and “GMA” were up in Total Viewers while
CBS’s “Early Show” (the non Charlie Sheen interview network) was down. However, “Early” was up slightly in A25-54 viewers. This is “Today’s” 794th consecutive week at #1.
