Good Morning America correspondent Mara Schiavocampo is having a baby in January, she announced on today’s show. “I’m expecting a baby. I’m right behind Ginger [Zee],” Schiavocampo said. “We have a daughter who’s 3. This is our second, and we’re thrilled.”
Schiavocampo says her daughter, Nina, wants “a girl one,” but her husband, Tommie Porter, is rooting for a boy.
“Becoming a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me,” Schiavocampo explained. “My husband talked me into the first one — I was on the fence — and she is the light of my life. So now I want 50 kids!! I’m just so excited and thrilled and blessed. Can’t wait to meet the little guy.”
Just last week, ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee announced that she’s expecting her first child.
