The changes keep coming at GMA.

On Tuesday, ABC’s Good Morning America freshened up its post-Labor Day look with a new co-host, as Michael Strahan formally joined GMA on a full-time basis.

Today, the morning show took the wraps off a studio refresh that includes a new look–and a live studio audience.

The new set debuted in the 8:30 a.m. ET half hour, with an insider describing the energy in the studio as “great.” The studio audience–not appearing in earlier parts of the show–sit not in stadium-style seating, but loosely around tables spread all over the set.

In making note of the new set—and audience—Strahan said many of the eager visitors in the studio arrived “before we got here” early Thursday morning.
