Oh, those hyper-competitive morning shows. This morning, ABC’s “Good Morning America” tweeted an “ABC News Exclusive” interview with El Capitan climbers Kevin Jorgenson and Tommy Caldwell, who talked to Robin Roberts about their record-setting climb. It was a solid interview, but it wasn’t, you know, “exclusive.”
Flip over to NBC’s “Today” and you could’ve seen the same climbers, in the same location at their hotel, telling much the same story to Matt Lauer. 
Or you could’ve watched their interview with Charlie Rose on “CBS This Morning.”
In fairness, “GMA” didn’t brand the interview “exclusive” while it was happening–going with a “Live on GMA” banner.
