Geraldo At Large: Premiering In November; Will Continue Hosting On FNC For Now

“Geraldo At Large” is the name of Rivera’s half-hour “live, first-run strip” that is being developed as a replacement for A Current Affair. “The new show will be produced in New York and distributed by Twentieth Television. It will slot into A Current Affair’s time periods on Fox’s O&Os when Affair goes off the air next month,” Broadcasting & Cable reports.

> The AP: “A Current Affair will air through October. Rivera’s show will take over its time slots on Fox owned-and-operated stations in November.”

> The Starr Report: “It’s expected that Rivera will continue to occasionally appear as a correspondent for Fox News Channel. He will, for now, continue hosting his Sunday-night FNC show, “At Large with Geraldo Rivera.'”

> “The problem with Fox and me is they’re wildly successful,” Geraldo said in May. “Where are you going to put me? Who are you going to knock out? Every single slot is filled.” He said his “ideal job” would be a daily news-related television/radio show.” It sounds like he now has his ideal job…
