George to Jorge: One of the Things I’ve Learned is to Let Go

By Chris Ariens

During the first of what may be a recurring segment on the new network Fusion, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos and ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos, along with Fusion anchor Alicia Menendez, chatted about politics, policy and the news business, including the “GMA,” “Today” show rivalry and Monday’s “GMA,” “Despierta America” crossover episode.

Jorge also asked George what was the secret behind his transition from working in the White House, to becoming a political pundit, to anchoring the news.

“The secret is to always dance on the inside, not the outside,” joked Stephanopoulos, known for his straight-laced role on “GMA.” “One of the things I’ve had to learn in the morning, is to let go a lot of that preparation and just go with the moment…go with the flow.”
