Frequent Cable Guest Jim Warren Leaving Chicago Tribune

By Alissa Krinsky

The Chicago Tribune‘s Jim Warren, a familiar guest presence on MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, and FNC — and known also for stints as a McLaughlin Group panelist — is leaving the paper, the Trib reports today.

Warren, most recently managing editor for features, joined the Tribune in 1984. His departure, writes Michael Oneal, is part of a “management exodus that has largely rewritten the Tribune‘s masthead in the eight months since real estate magnate Sam Zell took the paper’s parent company private in an $8.2 billion leveraged buyout.”
