‘Fox News Watch’ Says Goodbye

By Chris Ariens

“Fox News Watch” can now be added to the pantheon of cable news shows. Jon Scott hosted the final edition of FNC’s long-running media criticism show this weekend. “Thanks for making News Watch part of your weekend,” said Scott, who thanked his rotating cast of guests, previous hosts and the staff who put the show together every week. Scott had hosted the show for the last six years.

Next weekend, Fox News will debut a new media criticism show called MediaBuzz, hosted by Howard Kurtz. Kurtz will now go head-to-head with his old show, CNN’s “Reliable Sources” at 11amET Sunday. That show has not yet named a permanent replacement.
