Fox News Talks To Buzz Aldrin, Other Astronauts For 40th Anniversary Moon Special

By Alex Weprin

Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto is hosting a special at 9 PM on Sunday night commemorating the 40th anniversary of the last time man walked on the moon. The special is comprised heavily of interviews with astronauts who accomplished the feat, including Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell, Charlie Duke and Harrison Schmitt.

It has been 40 years since men walked on the morning, and with the end of the Space Shuttle program America’s space program is a shadow of its former self, as Cavuto writes in a preview.

And hear their frustration with a country that’s all but given up on a program that defined the essence of American greatness itself … Now reduced to hitching rides with the Russians to get back to space.
