Fox Business Seeks D.C. Assignment Editor

Do you have a nose for news? Fox Business Network is on the hunt for a hard-working assignment editor to run its Washington, D.C. bureau assignment desk.

You’ll be be responsible for gathering, researching and coordinating coverage of Capitol Hill, the White House, the SEC, Federal Reserve and more, while hiring D.C.-based reporters, producers and camera crews to carry out daily news-gathering. You’ll work closely with the network’s New York headquarters, as well as other Fox News assignment desk operations to coordinate resources when necessary.

Above all, you must have solid news judgment and a demonstrated ability to gather news in D.C. You’ll work closely with talent, editorial and technical staff, and perform editorial and coordination duties under deadline, so candidates should be personable and flexible.
