Former Barack Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer has joined CNN as a political commentator, CNN boss Jeff Zucker announced on Monday.
Pfieffer has worked on campaigns for Al Gore and Evan Bayh, in addition to Obama. He left the White House back in March as one of Obama’s longest-tenured strategists, holding the position of senior adviser for strategy and communications.
Pfieffer will make his debut on the network today with Jake Tapper around 4pmET.
