Former RNC Chair Michael Steele Named MSNBC Contributor

Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele has joined MSNBC as a political analyst. Steele has been a regular on the cable news channels since leaving his role earlier this year. Since then he has been openly seeking a deal with one of the cable channels.

“It’s an honor to contribute and engage in the dialogue on MSNBC,” said Steele in a statement. “I look forward to engaging a diverse audience to share insights and analysis about the people, issues, and events shaping America’s future. I’m sure our discussions will be both informative and a bit spirited!”

When we asked our readers to guess which network Steele would end up at, you said Fox News Channel was the leading candidate with 44% of the vote. MSNBC was second with 30%.
