Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Speak to Diane Sawyer on ‘ABC World News’

With the debt deal essentially done, the network evening newscasts are lining up guests for tonight’s programs. As we mentioned earlier, CBS will speak to House Speaker Boehner, now ABC says it will have former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on to talk about the deal with Diane Sawyer. Like CBS, “ABC World News” will also speak to a number of Democrats and Republicans in the House. The program will also feature a segment with residents from Fort Wayne, Indiana giving their thoughts on the situation in Washington. Update: Sawyer speaks to House Speaker Boehner and majority leader Cantor as well.
