Former ‘GMA’ EP Sees Novel Adaptation Hit Theaters

Former “Good Morning America” executive producer Ben Sherwood saw his bestselling novel, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, appear on the big screen this week as the film adaptation starting Zac Efron opened Friday in 2,718 theaters.

The film finished 6th in the box office over the weekend grossing over 12 million dollars. (Inception held the top spot.)

Sherwood was also once a senior producer at “NBC Nightly News” and a producer at ABC’s “Primetime Live.” He has authored two other books.
