FNC’s Megyn Kelly Expecting Baby Number Two

By Alex Weprin

Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly announced at the end of her show this afternoon that she is pregnant, with the baby due in April, 2011. Kelly had her first child in September, 2009.

Kelly announced the news during a weather segment with Janice Dean (transcript after the jump). If it looks familiar, that’s because Dean announced her own pregnancy on Kelly’s show back in August during a weather segment.

Update: Video after the jump (via J$P).

Dean: We had snow on Long Island. Look at this storm, a big pinwheel here. We have lots of snow across the higher elevations. Snow and wind in parts of the northeast. The next part of the forecast, I want to say what a fantastic job you did on election night, you were like the energy bunny.

Kelly: the Energizer Bunny

Dean: You did your show, and you were on for hours and hours with all the voting, you did an amazing job and you looked beautiful.

Kelly: It was even more amazing because I did it on no caffeine. And the reason I did it without any caffeine is because I, too, am expecting a little baby.

Dean: Forecasts calling for babies! There it is.

Kelly said that she expects to take a “brief maternity leave” after having the baby, who will join older brother Yates.
