“Can You Get Trump to 1,237” allows you to essentially channel your inner John King at CNN’s Magic Wall, moving the pieces around the board and seeing how–and, perhaps, if–Trump can clinch the GOP nomination before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Nate Silver has argued that short of locking up the nomination before arriving at the convention, Trump could face a major hurdle in trying to win the nomination in a contested convention. “The basic problem for Trump is that all the rules will be written and interpreted by the delegates, delegates who mostly don’t like Trump.”
