FBN’s Strange Inheritance Readies Season 3

By Chris Ariens

FBN’s Jamie Colby has been traveling the world digging up stories of strange inheritances. Season 3 of Strange Inheritance returns Jan. 20 with the first of 28 episodes, before moving to its regular Monday night timeslot on Jan. 23.

From Abraham Lincoln to Jane Austen, Colby uncovers unique artifacts at the stories behind them, that have been passed down from generation to generation. The premiere episode, on Inauguration Day, features a cameo from Vice President-elect Mike Pence as Colby visits a family that has long possessed a log-splitting mallet they believe belonged to a young Abraham Lincoln.

Strange Inheritance is produced by Towers Productions, which is known for such programs as The History Channel’s Gangland, National Geographic’s Inside 9/11, The Weather Channel’s Storm Stories and A&E’s American Justice.
