CBS’s “Face the Nation” wins its second consecutive season, topping in both total viewers and A25-54 demo viewers for the 2013-2014 season. The Sunday public affairs show drew 3.11 viewers, up +2% in viewers compared to the 2012-2013 season. The demo win was razor-thin, with “Face” topping ABC’s “This Week” by just 1,000 viewers.
The ABC broadcast saw the most growth in both viewers and the demo compared to last season, up + 13% in viewers and +16% in the demo. “Meet the Press,” hosted for almost the entire season by David Gregory before he was replaced by Chuck Todd, was down -5% in viewers and down -6% in the demo. “Fox News Sunday” was up +4% in viewers and down -9% in the demo. “Al Punto” hosted by Jorge Ramos on Univision was down -3% in viewers and -5% in the demo.
“Face the Nation’s” season average is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 67% of the country.
