Drudge Report notes, “The Obama-McCain match-up is proving to be a lackluster election ticket for the Big 3 network news programs.”
Despite stronger-than-usual ratings for the cable news networks, the evening newscasts have not seen the same numbers. Comparing last week’s ratings to the same week last year, ABC and CBS are down approximately 500,000 Total Viewers and NBC 400,000.
In the A25-54 demo, each network is down slightly year-to-year as well.
