The return to Standard Time and the midterm elections combined to give all three newscasts week-to-week gains.
“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” also retakes the lead in the A25-54 demo, which ABC’s “World News Tonight with David Muir” had owned for the last 11 weeks.
Compared to the same week last only Muir’s newscast is up in both viewers and the demo: +9% in viewers and +6% in the demo. “Nightly News” was up +2% in viewers but down -6% in the demo while the “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” was down -2% in viewers and up +2% in the demo.
