The evening news ratings race was an interesting one last week. “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley,” which has been on the rise the last few months, was flat compared to its year ago numbers. “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was up the most in younger viewers (+4%) and “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” was up the most in total viewers (+6%). NBC and ABC also improved in total viewers compared to the prior week, which saw the election. All three were down week-to-week in the demo.
