Evening News Ratings: Week Of Jan. 16

“The on-air duo of Elizabeth Vargas and Bob Woodruff rebounded from their first week as World News Tonight co-anchors, leading the broadcast up 2% in viewers and 9% in adults 25-54,” Variety reports. The uptick “reverses a rough first-week outing for Woodruff and Vargas that saw the broadcast lose ground to NBC and CBS in the ratings race.”

NBC still beat ABC by more than a million. NBC averaged 10.15 million, ABC averaged 9.09 million and CBS averaged 7.86 million. Here’s the NBC press release…
