All three evening newscasts shed viewers last week, compared to the same week last year which was Brian Williams final full week in the NBC Nightly News anchor chair.
ABC World News Tonight with David Muir won the week in total viewers, by less than a half percent over NBC Nightly News. It’s the third time in the last 6 weeks ABC has taken total viewers. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt won the A25-54 demo by +9 percent over ABC.
Among the A25-54 demo, only CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley saw growth, +3 percent vs. last year, while Nightly News was down -9 percent and World News Tonight was down -10 percent.
