“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” wins the evenings once again and does so by growing its total viewer and demo audience compared to the same week last year, the only broadcast to do so. It also enjoyed a 1.58 million viewer lead on its closest competitor, ABC “World News with Diane Sawyer”
“CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” was up the most in total viewers: +15%, and even topped “World News” on two nights last week: by 148,000 viewers on Wednesday and by 91,000 viewers on Thursday.
CBS was down -4% year-over-year in the demo while ABC was up +1% in viewers and down -1% in the demo.
