“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” wins the evening news race again last week, but ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” closes the gap and wins two of the five nights last week — Monday and Friday. (Brian Williams anchored “Nightly” Monday-Thursday with Harry Smith in on Friday.)

It was also a year ago last week that the “CBS Evening News” tied its lowest watched week since records began in 1991. A year later, the Scott Pelley broadcast is up +15% in both total viewers and A25-54 viewers. The most of the three evening newscasts.
