The summer slump may be ending for the evening newscasts. All three shows were up in the demo, while ABC World News and CBS Evening News also grew in Total Viewers week-to-week.
NBC Nightly News shed 200K Total Viewers week-to-week, still finishing first in both categories. World News with Charles Gibson topped NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams on Friday, with Ann Curry in for Williams. Last week was #2 ABC’s smallest Total Viewer and A25-54 gaps with NBC since the week of May 18.
