ESPN Offends NY Post Scribe

By Noah Davis

Phil Mushnick is angry!

ESPN is treating Pittsburgh Steelers safety James Harrison with kid gloves. Mike Tirico said sympathetic things about the head-hunter! Jon Gruden mentioned that he wasn’t a “dirty player.” Oh, the humanity!

Mushnick’s right to point out that Harrison isn’t the saint ESPN might want you to believe. But is there any reason to bring up his problems away from football? “Off the field, he has issues, too, from being sentenced to anger management classes following an arrest for domestic assault, to his pit bull’s attack on his son,” the columnist writes.

His pit bull attacked his son? What possible bearing does that have on anything that happens on the football field.

Mr. Mushnick, you’re just throwing things out there, hoping something sticks.
