Ernie Johnson Looks To Rebound In ALCS

Brace yourself, Yankee fans.

TBS announcer Ernie Johnson will be the calling play-by-play for the entire American League Championship Series, starting with Game 1 on Friday night.

The Inside The NBA host, who also called Atlanta Braves games this season on Peachtree TV, has taken an e-beating during his playoff telecasts.

While Johnson isn’t Vin Scully (and really, who is?), he’s still an upgrade over Chip Caray, the Brooks Conrad of announcers during last year’s playoffs.

And considering your Plan B is listening to John Sterling on the radio, I don’t want to hear Yankee fans complaining.
