ABC News anchor Elizabeth Vargas is out of rehab and back home. This afternoon she tweeted:
Hello everyone! I am home, and so grateful for all your support and well wishes. I am so much better and taking it one day at a time.

Vargas began treatment for alcohol addiction last month. “I realized I was becoming increasingly dependent on alcohol, and feel fortunate to have recognized it for the problem it was becoming,” Vargas said in a statement midway through her treatment. “I am so thankful for the love and support of my family, friends and colleagues at ABC News.”
Vargas, who has been with ABC since 1996, co-anchors “20/20″ alongside David Muir and she often fills in for Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America.”
She is expected back on the air as early as next week.
