Edward Snowden Watches Wolf Blitzer Discuss the NSA Leaker

By Chris Ariens

Edward Snowden, a former NSA contractor who revealed himself as Glenn Greenwald’s source, has been holed up in a Hong Kong hotel room for nearly 3 weeks, since he fled his NSA post in Hawaii with the last of the documents he intended to disclose. Greenwald, in his story about Snowden, reveals one day late last week as the informant watched the news about himself:

He lay, propped up against pillows, watching CNN’s Wolf Blitzer ask a discussion panel about government intrusion if they had any idea who the leaker was. From 8,000 miles away, the leaker looked on impassively, not even indulging in a wry smile.
