Sometimes it pays to travel. The Early Show broadcast from Raleigh, NC on Friday. And the hometown crowd loved it. According to CBS, “Early’s” ratings in Raleigh on CBS affiliate WRAL were up 230% (7.6 rating/22 share) from the previous Friday (2.3/7).
Good Morning America also saw an uptick in the Raleigh/Durham/Fayetteville market. On WTVD, GMA was up 40% (7.3/21) from the week before (5.2/17). “Today” on NBC affiliate WNCN was down 42% week (1.9/6) to week (1.1/3).
