E.D. Hill is leaving Fox & Friends, according to several tipsters. TVNewser hears Hill is moving to the 10am hour of Fox News Live, where she will replace Brigitte Quinn, who disappeared in July to deal with a personal family issue.
Hill has co-hosted Fox & Friends since 1999.
The move may come as a surprise to observers, since FNC has emphasized the morning show in recent months, frequently promoting the program and pitching it as a “viable alternative” to the broadcast morning shows. There’s no word on her replacement and it’s unclear when the move will happen.
> Sept. 18: Hill says she likes working mornings because she “can have a full mom day and a full workday.”
> Update: 1:07pm: An e-mailer asks: “Was this E.D.’s choice?”
> Update: 1:09pm: A second e-mailer writes: “I predict she will be leaving when her contract is up…”
