During Busy News Week, Fox News is First as CNN Sees Double Digit Growth

Fox News, as it always is, was the most-watched cable news network last week as the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 intensified and the showdown in Crimea hit full boil. After giving Fox News a run for its ratings the week before, FNC won the week in total viewers and the demo and was the 5th most-watched of all cable networks. The mystery of Flight 370 has been a huge ratings draw for CNN. From the start of coverage on March 8, through Sunday, March 23 the network’s total day viewing is up +82% among total viewers and up +99% in the A25-54 demo. Fox News is flat, and up +9%, respectively, and MSNBC is down -8% and down -9%, in the same measurements.
