Donald Trump Won’t Be on Fox News ‘For the Foreseeable Future’

Donald Trump has had enough of Fox News. The GOP presidential frontrunner says he won’t be doing Fox News interviews “for the foreseeable future,” for what he calls unfair treatment.

Things have not been the same between Trump and Fox News since the first GOP debate in early August during which he took offense to a question from co-moderator Megyn Kelly. But, despite going after Kelly for several days–until Fox News chief Roger Ailes intervened–Trump returned to the network, sitting for interviews with Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren during the week of Sept. 7. But yesterday Trump decided he’d had enough of the nation’s No. 1 newschannel after watching The O’Reilly Factor and The Kelly File Monday night.

He went so far as to tweet: “CNN has been fair.”

Trump’s presence in the campaign has given a ratings boost to the cable and broadcast programs he appears on. The two GOP debates on Fox News and CNN rank as the most-watched non-sports cable news programs ever. And just last night, Trump’s sit-down with Stephen Colbert gave CBS’s Late Show a win over NBC’s Tonight Show and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. With 4.56 million viewers (to Fallon’s 3.38M and Kimmel’s 2.5M), it was Colbert’s most-watched show since his debut Sept. 8.

CNN’s Brian Stelter reports Trump was booked on O’Reilly’s show for tomorrow night:
