Don Lemon has responded to Rush Limbaugh’s statement that Lemon “sleeps with men proudly.”
“Considering the source it’s not even worth a response,” Lemon tells TVNewser.
Limbaugh made the comment on his radio show Tuesday, in response to Lemon calling Limbaugh a “stunt king.”
Lemon gave the conservative radio host that title on CNN Monday after Limbaugh suggested the only reason Donald Sterling was in trouble was “he did not give enough money to Obama.”
“Over at CNN, they interpreted that to mean that I was defending Sterling!” Limbaugh said Tuesday. “How did they get there? I don’t know how they get there. Erin Burnett played the sound bite and then went to Mr. Black Hole himself, Don Lemon —- who sleeps with men, proudly —- for comment.”
Limbaugh went on to suggest CNN has “no sense of humor.”
This is the second high-profile dust-up Lemon’s been in over the last couple months: in February, the CNN anchor and Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett got into a Twitter spat over Lemon’s response to the Michael Dunn verdict. “Mind your business…old man,” Lemon wrote on Twitter to Jarrett after the Fox anchor called him a “pompous, pretentious jerk.”
