“Fox & Friends” sent a tweet this morning, tying last night’s ambush shooting of two Ferguson police officers to recent comments made by AG Eric Holder.
A reporter asked Holder last week if his plan for the Ferguson Police Department could include dismantling the department. The AG responded, “if that’s what’s necessary, we’re prepared to do that.”
The “Fox & Friends” message asks if the “new Ferguson violence” is “what he [Holder] meant?” The Washington Post‘s Erik Wemple published a column ripping the FNC morning show for posting the message.
As of the time this article was published, the tweet remains up and “Fox & Friends” has yet to comment on the situation. Check it out for yourself below and tell us your thoughts in the comment section.
