Dick Morris Out At Fox News

By Alex Weprin

Fox News has severed ties with Dick Morris, declining to renew his contract when it came up for renewal, an FNC spokesperson confirms.

Morris, who has been absent from FNC since the week after the November election, has been a contributor to the channel for years, often as the network’s go-to “Clinton person,” whenever there was news involving the former First Family.

He gained notoriety before the election for his woefully inaccurate predictions, drawing scorn and mockery from the political media.

He will appear on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” Wednesday.

While FNC has retained Karl Rove as a contributor, it also recently parted ways with former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, marking a changing of the guard somewhat on the network’s political bench.
