Despite playing out on a Sunday night in the middle of a long holiday weekend, last night’s Democratic presidential debate on NBC appears to have been the highest-rated Democratic debate since October. Preliminary figures from Nielsen indicate the debate had a 7.2 household rating.
The highest-rated Democratic debate of the election so far was the first, on CNN in October, which averaged 15.3 million viewers–the best ratings for a Democratic debate ever.
Final ratings will be released later today.
