Dem Candidates Make the Morning Show Rounds

A good night for Sen. Hillary Clinton was followed by an extremely busy morning. Clinton appeared on six morning shows this morning while her competitor, Sen. Barack Obama appeared on five.

Clinton moved from ABC’s Good Morning America to the Today show on NBC. Her interview with CBS’ Early Show aired at the same time as GMA’s, but was pre-taped earlier in the morning. She then moved on to cable, going from FNC to CNN to MSNBC. Obama’s path was from CBS to NBC to ABC to CNN to FNC.

On FNC, Karl Rove sat in with the Fox & Friends crew for the interview, and made his presence known (he was also present for the Obama interview 10 minutes later). Midway through Steve Doocy‘s questioning of Clinton, Rove slipped Doocy a piece of paper, which Doocy read. “More U.S. presidents have been born in the month of October than any other month. You were born in…” he asked.

“October, thank you Karl! I mean the omens are just stacking up, what can I say?” responded Clinton. Raw Story has the video of the interview.
